The Hub for Applied Geosciences in Southern Africa

Who We Are

Surveyor Ltd is a Zambia-based geoscience venture headquartered in Ndola, operating across Southern Africa with a service model designed for industry timelines and decision cycles.
We are built inside the GGM.EARTH technical ecosystem—methods, QA/QC, modelling standards, and continuous tech evolution are aligned to a global framework. (ggm.earth)

What We Deliver

●  Potential Site Identification (Desk Study + Regional Intelligence)
Constraints + opportunity mapping to define where investigations are technically justified and what method pairing will produce decision-grade answers.

●  Integrated Field Surveys (Geophysics · Geotechnics · Geomatics · Monitoring) Scalable from rapid screening to multi-phase programs for complex assets.

●  Multilevel Survey & 3D Subsurface Modelling (core delivery) Cross-correlated datasets converging into one coherent model.

●  Geo-Referenced Mineral Certification Support
Structured, georeferenced geological datasets and technical documentation supporting certification/reporting workflows (sampling traceability, coordinates, maps, model-linked evidence).

●  Simulation-Ready & Predictive Workflows
3D assets prepared for scenario testing and response forecasting where required.

What We Do

Services for a Resilient Future

Our services in Zambia are tailored to address the key challenges and opportunities of the region.

Operational Intelligence Model (EU ↔ Africa)

  1. Desk study + potential site definition

  2. Survey architecture (method pairing by area/industry/objective)

  3. Field acquisition (Zambia / Southern Africa)

  4. EU-based processing, interpretation, model engineering

  5. Delivery: 3D assets + reporting + decision outputs

Two teams. One system.

Models built for design, risk, and reporting—across time.

Multilevel Survey → 3D Asset

Our Multilevel protocol combines: ERT, EM, Magnetometry, Seismography, GPR, Gravity, Remote Sensing, Satellite data into one inspectable 3D subsurface model.
That model becomes the primary project asset—updateable, reusable, comparable across phases, and aligned to engineering and reporting requirements.

Start from a site. Receive a structured plan:

potential targets → method pairing → acquisition → 3D asset → delivery.

Technology & Tools at the Core

The Ndola HQ is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to deliver precise and reliable data.

  • Aerial Mapping: DJI Matrice 400 RTK + + Zenmuse L2 LiDAR for high-precision aerial surveys and monitoring.

  • 3D Mobile Scanning: GeoSLAM ZEB Horizon for rapid and accurate 3D mapping of complex environments.

  • Subsurface Investigation: Advanced seismic, electrical resistivity, and ground-penetrating radar (GPR) systems for detailed subsurface analysis.

Software Suite: A complete set of GIS, Remote Sensing, and 3D modelling software for data processing, interpretation, and predictive simulations.

Training the Next Generation: The Global Exchange Program

GGM.EARTH is committed to fostering talent through our Internship, Training, and Academy program, creating a dynamic link between Italy and Zambia.

  • Inbound to Italy: We welcome students and professionals from Zambia and across the globe to our Italian headquarters for advanced on-studio and on-field training with cutting-edge tools.

  • Outbound to Zambia: Trained professionals become part of the permanent team at the Ndola HQ, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and strengthening local capacity.

  • Academic Bridge: We are eager to initiate a collaboration and look forward to establishing a strong partnership with the University of Lusaka. Through this alliance, we aim to advance applied research, develop joint programs, and offer professional certifications, fostering mutual growth and academic excellence.
